Got this last week. I had to sell my 44 anaconda for school money last year with hopes of finding a blued redhawk in 44. AND I DID!:happy dance:

44mag Redawk 7.5"
Weigand scope mount& rings
leupold 2X20mm

Cant wait for my Mihec mold to come in now!

Thanks! It came with just Iron sights, but I found the leupold on Fleabay for $200 and jumped on it. I want to do some out of state hunting with it and use this also to work on load development. Just have to pick up a chest rig now that it weighs 4lbs lol

Man I would have swapped you straight up for the Anaconda!!!

Got a complete Redhawk Hunting outfit that I am trying to sell to purchase a lever gun.

That sure is a sweet looking rig that you have. The Weigand mount will hold up real good. Got one on another Redhawk that I have.

Enjoy that wheelgun!!!

Anacondas are NICE REVOs, but the Redhawk is no slouch. Like you, I'm conflicted as to carry method--holster, or sling strap. :)

I Think im sold on the "simply Rugged" Scoped revolver holster and their "Chestee" system. Seems like a good setup for $150. Here is the link.

I just got back from the range to sight in the scope. Amazingly with my XTP180HP on top of W296 I took aim and let of 6 rounds at 25yrds. I almost fell over when I came up to the target to faound 5 of the six rounds tightly grouped in the black on the target. Only one went outside of the bull and it was because I flinched.[smilie=w: I AM IN LOVE!
