How come you have over 15k posts but your Avatar shows up as 12k (2 gold and 2 lead boolits)?

Huh. Ummmmm, I dunno. Probably a racial issue or something about my sexual orientation or the way I smell or something. Could be they figured 12K of worthless posts by a guy with virtually no other contact with the outside world was enough?

Actually when I created the ranks, I didnt think anyone could possibly reach 12,000 posts for a long time... I will get some more made up :)

Bret--

Contact with the outside world is over-rated and often disappointing. Hence our move to BFE Ridgecrest 3+ years ago. Kind of a South Park, with sagebrush and chukars.

I'm pretty sure Macomb NY can at least match Ridgecrest Ca in alone time.

Hey Bret,

Come to central Kentucky when you want to take a trip to the "country".

I have a neighbor from up your way. His father-in-law was coming through visiting Mammoth Cave and had his travel home break down. Called son-in-law who happens to be a cracker jack mechanic to drive down from north of Albany to fix the vehicle. Father-in-law made it back to New York, son-in-law moved entire family here and opened his own garage.

He says that rural people here and from his area of up-state New York are very much alike and that the country even looks somewhat similar. He also says that you get to see the countryside a whole lot longer without snow on it down here than his old area, but you just can't have everything!

I figure the Golden Boolit award makes the rest kinda superfluous.
