327 Federal

Just picked up a 3" Ruger SP101 in 327 Federal.
I placed an order today for a Ranch Dog TLC313-115-RF mold and his .313 Lee sizer.

Anyone have suggestions for good 327 loads in the SP101?

I saw the Group Buy for the Sledgehammer 140g but wanted to cast and load now.
I may try to get in on the group buy after I shoot the 115g cast.

I find that A#9 under the Lyman 311316 sized .313 and checked works well. It weighs 115 gr. and fits the bore of my Charter Arms 4" Target Patriot and my Taurus 327B2 very well. I have tried lighter boolits and found that the heavier ones work best for this high pressure round.

+2 on Guesser's post. Max load of #9 pushing a 115 grain GC boolit or a Sierra 115 gr. Gold dot are accurate in my Blackhawk .327 and in my 2 inch Taurus revolver.
