I know several of the guys here have said some prayers over the past few months for my Mom. She finally passed last night. No more pain. Rest easy Mom, we'll all be together soon.

When you loose Mom, you've also lost your best friend. We're all thinking of you, and praying for your comfort.

Bret, I am sure your mom is in a better place. A place with no pain and only happiness. My mom is 89 and her quality of life is not good. When she goes I will miss her greatly but will be happy knowing her pain and suffering is over. The pain and suffering is not physical but mental because she cannot do the things she has always enjoyed.

Bret, mi amigo;

It's part of the natural progression of the generations, and we all have to face it unless fate intervenes....but knowing it's natural does NOT make it any easier.

Both my parents passed away in the last few years, but both lived to a good old age and saw all their children well into adulthood.

I'm positive that your Mom looked upon you and saw probably her best creation. She had a full life-span and a fulfilled life, from what you've said.

I'm relieved that she no longer suffers, as you had related in the past. Also, I'm very sorry for the grief you feel now. Hold tightly to your good memories. We are thinking of you.

I have read your posts for enough years to know your mom will still be smiling about the son she raised.

I know it is hard but think of all the good times and the pain will go away. That has helped with the loss of a mom and daughter in the last 3 years. Thoughts and prayers .
