32 years ago today

Been out of town last four days on a bus trip to , as we boarded the bus for the return trip home I realized that 32 years ago on this date I retired from the US Navy 21 years active duty, one week later I was working for Rohr Ind later Goodrich where I worked 23 years and retired as a staff engineer.

Tom, your post got me thinking It's been 12 years today that I retired after 20 years (Army and Navy). I'm still working though and just had my 54th birthday Aug 30 so I've got some more time to my next retirement. Fair winds and following seas.

What a coincidence! I retired in August 1979 with slightly less than twenty two years service in Naval Aviation/Air Force. Seems as if it was only a few weeks ago. Neil
