Looked thru all six pages and did not see a thread on what is your carry gun and how you carry it. Mine is a Glock 23 in a Crossbreed Supertuck. What is yours. Pics would be a extra win.

hoss-noogy, I've been thinking about a Supertuck, but never talked to someone with first hand experience. Since you are in Mississippi, how is it in hot weather?

Glock 17, 20, 21, or 22. Springfield XD 9 or 45, sub or full. Kel-Tec 380 or Ruger LCR. The smaller ones in pocket or on ankle in an Uncle Mike's. The larger ones in a Blackhawk Serpa. Depends on the mood, weather, and destination.

How's that for specific? Heh

If I'm wearing a T-shirt, it's a Sig P238 Equinox in a custom IWB. if I'm wearing a heavier shirt, sweater or jacket, it's a Para C-6 .45 in a custom tuckable IWB

EDC is a Ruger LCR in a DeSantis Nemesis stashed in a front pocket. Next is a S&W Model 12 in an old open top Bianchi belt slide holster.

If I'm in the woods for any length of time, I have a Bianchi shoulder rig which I hope to start carrying my recently acquired Ruger GPNY.

S&W 3913 in a belt slide. Not exoitic - but 9 rounds of 147gr Hydro shocks should extract me from a bad situation.

Light enough that I will carry it and not leave it at home!

This is one of those questions that could receive hundreds of correct answers. The following reasons are just a few of why it is almost impossible to receive any correct or incorrect answers.
Your body size
Your gender
Your hand size
Your gun experience and any formal training
Your reason for CCW
Your location and the weather extremes
Your possible targets(animals, gangs, multiple targets)

This is just a few things that come into play when choosing a gun and holster for CCW
I am sure that this list may be modified many times over but for the sake of being brief I choose to end it here.

Winter when plowing the projects I add a XDm in .45 with a belt holster otherwise it's the LCR and the nemesis. Convient and light weight in a cargo pocket

Unfortunately in my line of work it's not practical to carry anything larger than a pocket gun. In the vehicle is usually where the M12 resides. Only a couple of times have I upgraded because of location. If it hadn't of been for work commitments I would have been in the van and up the road, rather than digging out another gun. Responsibility sucks at times.

Old S&W Sigma .380 in pocket holster always - it's small, light, and better than a pocket knife. Sometimes also open carry the 1911.

Currently running a Kimber Stainless Pro Carry in a custom IWB holster that a forum member from another site made up for me. Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring...same rig. I am looking at picking up a Simply Rugged Cuda and CID mag pouch for it though.

I am not a small fella so I am usually able to just wear an untucked shirt over it in the warmer months. When it cools off, a sweatshirt, jacket or vest gets the cover up duty.

Rock Island 3.5" compact 1911 loaded with federal hydra-shocks. I carry @ 4:00 strong-side IWB with an extra clip @ 9:00. That's 15 chances to stop the threat. My wife carries a vintage S&W 36 @ 6:00 IWB. Sure hope we never have to use our guns, but life would be very hard for either of us to raise our daughter alone so we bought "life insurance".

For the most part these days I carry a SP101 without a holster. I have Hogue grips on it and it stays put very well and comfortably at 1:00 IWB with its little butt hanging a smidge over my belt. A polo, tee shirt or any untucked shirt, absolutely no printing, draws well.

Sometimes I opt for my old Mod 60 and it requires an Uncle Mikes open top IWB also at 1:00.

For some odd turn of events, I ended up carrying a 4&5/8 Blackhawk for two weeks sans holster same as the little SP101. It worked far better than I would ever have guessed.

SciFiJim, Im in florida and I run a G26 in a hores-hide supertuck, I wear those columbia fishin shirts untucked almost exclusively and never have any problems, and it is surprisingly comfortable. you would draw faster and more positively with the combat cut, but you will lose on comfort, even with the full cut I have, my draws are pretty damn fast.
On occasion, I do carry a 329pd in an IWB, I'm big enough and wear loose enough shirts to get away with it, no printing. It all depends on where I am going and what I'm doing.

KelTec PF9 with a belt clip. With the belt clip, it clips and goes any & everywhere. In the belt, over the truck visor, jacket pocket... Even clips to the inside of my boots. Best. Carry. Rig. Ever.

Sometimes a Colt Agent with bobbed hammer in an Uncle Mike's pocket holster, with a shrouded Colt Cobra back up (New York Reload) also in an Uncle Mike's Pocket Holster.

Other times, a Kahr K40 in a De Santis belt slide holster.

Or, an S&W 3913 (or 3914) with an original Alessi belt slide holster.

Well, it depends on the time of year. Right now with warmer weather I can get away with my Smith Model 10 2-inch barrel in a pocket holster, when it gets warm I tend to carry my Model 27-2 3 1/2 inch barrel in a SimplyRugged Sourdough pancake or my M & P 4-inch in a Bianchi (not sure model number).
