35 Rem mold

Anyone know of a 35 rem mold that would be good for casting boolits for hunting. Im would be shooting in out of a Remington 760 pump

Sorry I posted this again I posted something like this post before a couple of years ago. I just have to remember to go and look at my old posts. LOL.

RCBS 35-200, It is a gas check and flatpoint. A top hunting boolit for the 35 Remington.

Either one will be excellent choices. The Ranch Dog is available in a 6 cavity mold, if production makes a difference.

+1 on the RCBS 35-200 excellent bullet in the 35 Remington in my experience. Not bad in the 357 Maximum either for that matter.

I agree, it is my go to boolit for full house hunting loads, and shoots very well indeed out of my Marlin over a max (Lyman 49 manual) load of AA-2015

i get very impressive results at the range with this boolit in my marlin 336rc.

Although not a 35 Remington (358 Win)I use the RCBS 200 gr.either fp or hp'd

Another vote for the RCBS (35 Whelen here), although I believe Saeco has something close. I would consider getting a NOE if they do another run, get one of the cavities HP'd. Of course you could do this with the RCBS as well after the fact.

They worked great. They where the most accurate of all the gas checked boolits that I tried. They were no good for paper patching though. I'm going to wait until tax return time and try to buy that one, and the similar one for .308. Seems like they are both very well thought of. I just can't pony up the cash right now.

the OP stated he was using this in a REMINGTON 760 PUMP, not a marlin. IN MY REMINGTON 760, which is an older one, i can not use the group bu copy of the ranch dog bullet. the nose is way too large of diameter. i would have to size the nose down about 4-6 thou to get it to work. i can;t even get the action to close. i don't know it the original rnach dog would be different enough to work or not. i have the rcbs mold as well, but have not gotten around to casting with it yet.

NOE might still have some of the 35-200 group buy moulds that was done earlier in the year.
