Pedersoli Rolling Block Sporter

Could anyone tell me the bore diameter of the 28 inch Pedersoli Rolling Block Sporter? Should I be casting and shooting .375 or .378. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

assuming of course that we are talking about a 38-55??? welcome to the forum medic!!

I have 4 38-55s (two lever actions and two single shots) and none of them shoot a .375 bullet well. I size all my 38-55 bullets to .379 which works in all of them. However none of my rifles are a pedersolli so yours may be different.

Your best bet is to ALWAYS slug the bore to determine what your particular rifle is.
I have seen bores vary from the same manufacturer, from lot to lot, someimes larger, sometimes smaller.
What Georges' bore measures don't matter to Jack.
Not always enough to matter, if you are using copper jackets, but more than enough if you are pushing lead!
