I'm looking for a jacket reducing die for taking .223 brass down to around .370 for use as .375 jackets. I'm looking to get a bit of info from some of you out there with various 9mm and 38 cal relaoding/sizing dies.

If we push a cut 223 case completly threw a 9mm taper crimp die we get a jacket of about .360, perfect for a 9.3 ;) and still works for just fine for the .375 jackets but I'm looking for just a bit less of a reduction. Anyone got a 9mm sizing die that you can push a case all the way threw? Care to share some final diminitions. Be sure if your going to try this the case is fully annealed!

Maybe a 38 or .357 sizing die would work so long as the base of the .223 can be sized dow some how? My core seat dies for the .375 are .3725ish so we need to get jackets slightly smaller then that. Anyone with some info or ideas would certinaly be appericated.

I'll have some new pics soon of the 375 bullets. They are looking real good.

Good shooting and Swage On!

what about using a .380 seating die. The finished cartridge should measure .373 acc to SAAMI?

I'll look into it. Still looking for ideas. Like I said the 9mm TC die works. Anyone got a Lee factory crimp die they use for the 9MM? If it is anything like the 40 S&W take out the crimp insert and just push the 9mm all teh way threw. Like the 40 buldge busting dies???

Thanks

BT

p.s. got some awesome bullets to pic soon!
