Hello y'all,
The post "Bore slugging mold" by Tchepone" was the kickoff for this post.
Anyway, I have been thinking of this as well. Reading that post, I see 7 folks at this point interested in this (including myself). I would be happy to honcho this, or, if someone with more posts would be interested, that would be fine.
I am thinking an aluminum 6 gang mould, six holes drilled 2 inches in depth for slugging rifle throats and a bit of the bore. This mold would produce a length of lead "wire" so to speak to facilitate the process at the below link under "how to slug a rifle throat". It is about half way down the page.

The holes could be in sizes for 22, 25, 30, 40, 45, 50. We need to come together for proper size (diameter) so they would fit to tighter throats /bores, to larger sizes in the same calibers for each choice. Also, perhaps two inches long is too long, or not long enough. I am figuring .25 of the length or so will be in the case mouth.
Comments on sizes appreciated as, some of the diameters above may serve more than one caliber, and we could get another size in there, as the process involves mashing them down anyway.
