I have a 1894 Marlin 357 that I put a Marble Tang Sight on. A few weeks ago I had it sitting on some sand bags when it started to fall. I grabbed the gun at the pistol-grip area. The web of my hand hit the sight forcing it to cam forward smashing the flat spring down. After that the spring had no tension and the sight just flopped back and forth.
Ignoring the directions that clearly said "DON'T DISASSEMBLE" I took it apart and tried to fix it myself. Resulting in more damage. I sent it back to Marble with a note admitting my ignorance, and a promise that if they would fix it I would not take it apart again. In less that 2 weeks it was back fixed no charge.
Just wanted to past this on. Very happy with their customer service.
