I have a Ruger .380ACP LCP which I like very much, but the trigger pull is too heavy for my wife. I've heard that the Taurus TCP in .380 has a much lighter trigger pull. Do any of you have any experience with this little auto?
Thanks,
Shuz

I don't have a Ruger to compare it to but..... the trigger pull on the Taurus seems heavy to me and the wife says it seems heavy compaired to her XD 40. It also seems gritty to.

Have you looked at the Keltecs?? My P3AT runs between 5 and 6 lbs. It's a fairly long DA pull but easily controllable. In this neck of the woods the Keltec runs about $240.

The problem may well be the fact that they are just little bitty guns and trigger pull/control is much harder.

Glad you asked, I own one and I love it

I bought it over the other two because of the trigger. Its long double action
but very smooth. My wife uses it as her carry and she loves it.

Thats it right there just didn't think about it. Your using a different part of your finger in that small gun and the trigger pull feels heaver but might be the same as other pistols you own.

Bigger, but try a Bersa if you can find one.

Coworker and his girlfriend both swear by them for carry and "shootability".
