I remember the Ranger School TAC NOC's telling us many things.
Two have recently returned to haunt me.
1. Experience is what you get when you did NOT get what you wanted.
2. Pain is weakness leaving the body.
I made the decision earlier this month to attempt to regain some of the Karate skills that have moldered on the back burner since 1972. I have had Master Quoc Nguyen cheerfully run me thru thirty minutes of stretching and an hour or so of basic moves to hip-hop music three nights last week, and two this week. He says I need the 48 hours to recover between training sessions. I am 100% agreement with that assessment.
I have rediscovered over one hundred pressure points on my upper body, and all of them either hurt, or have a bruise' or both.
But, his brother works at a facility where they do all sorts of neat things with a Lead and 3% antimony alloy and I can buy all the nubbins I wish for eighty-eight cents a pound.
I ache all over, time for three tramidol...
regards to all,
Rich
