Thanks to all who have helped me develop this load for my Handirifle! It has been a great learning experience as its my first centerfire round using my cast boolits. The pistol and revolver rounds were simpler in some ways to get cast to work well, but the rifle rounds have been a fun learning experience.
I am using Lyman 480473, cast from range scrap+a little tin solder, wgt.= 128-129gr, over Unique and sized to 0.280. Once I dialed everything in I am shooting a decent group at 50 yds about 1.5" which is not bad for me. I need to check it out at 100 yds and beyond but that is the next stage. I am sure with a little more practice I will close up that group a little more too.
This is "green" practice too: I recycled lead from the range and shot it again!
