I'm sure this has been covered before but I've been unable to find it so I'll apologise now for repeating it; but can anyone tell me the exact dimensions of the bullet in the factory cartridge (7.62x38r) for the Nagant 1895 gas seal revolver?

I know the ones for the 32/20 reloads but it is the original dimensions I'm after.

I believe it was .310" like all other russian 30 caliber guns. They really like to standardize over there.

Do you want diameter only or do you want length and weight too? I can pull some of the target ammo, but that is different from the issue ammo and I don't have any of that.

Hi Wayne,
It is the full set of dimensions I'm after and target rounds would be OK but please don't go pulling good ammo just for this.
