OK guys. I got my TLC359190RF bullets from Jerry at Carolina Cast{great to deal with} . The bullets look great and do well in the 35 REM. Looking to load some soon in the 357 mag revo. Any of you care to share a load or two and some of the basics like COAL. I understand there may be a need fo some case trimming????
I have Unique and WC820 {AA9} powders
Looking for a good close range {0 to 35 yards} deer round.
What speeds to I need to aspire for?
Thanks for your time!
Jeff

Search this forum. This was just on here a week or two ago.

Yeah, that was me asking about the possibility of even using this bullet in the 357. Now I was just looking for some basic starting places.
Thanks

Look at the data on ranch dogs site. Its listed at rifle pressure, not handgun. Back everything off by at least a grain for a max load. If you shorten your cases, back off further. As with any load, reduce by at least 10% from what you expect to be a max load and work up in .5gr incriments. If you see signs of pressure, back down 2% or more. I'm going with H110 when I try it because of how predictable it is when run at high pressures.

H-110 gives me the top performace , both accuracy & speed for hunting loads with a NOE 360180 that dresses out at 187gr. I started at 12 gr. & stopped at 12.5 for 1050 fps out of a 6" SS GP100

I`d go with the WC820 .

h110 is great with 180-205gr boolits. i use anywhere from 12-14gr depending on the boolit design. h110 needs to be near max load to be accurate in my gp100
