Go to the Hodgdon site and use their data, use the 300gr. bullet data to start with.

The good reloading books are full of good and tested data!

Plus, what shoots well in my gun, may not do so in yours!!

As has been written by others, "your gun will tell you."

Keep em coming!

Easy one lol. Use the Lee 310 Gr with 21.0 to 21.5 Gr of H-110 or W-296 with a Standard Large Pistol Primer.

Size the bullet to fit the throat. And crimp the bullet on the bottom crimp groove or to say have the bullet set as far out as the pistol will allow.

Happy Shooting. :bigsmyl2: One more thing Hang On. It is not a light kicker.

Like LUCKYDAWG13, i go with the exact same powders but add one more: VithaVuori N110. The best results i have with W296, quite a kick but super accurate. This powder works well with my FA revolver and my TC-Contender. And before that i had a S&W model 29 that did wonders with W296.

Works well for me too.

LUCKYDAWG13. That 21.5 grs of H110 load is above Red Line in my Quickload program. I wouldn't use it unless it is under a max load in a published loading manual. I get over 37000 PSI with that load. I realize you are shooting it out of good quality guns but I'd drop it to between 19.5-20.0 grs if it were in my guns. Not trying to hurt anyones feelings here.

For the 300 grain Ranch Dog, I use 20.0 grains of W-296. REAL accurate.
