Barrel thread specs for NM SBH

Can anyone share the thread specs for the barrel on a New Model Super Blackhawk? OD and threads/inch?

Brownell's sells taps and dies for all of the S&W and ruger single action revolvers (others too). They list the thread sizes and tpi in their catalog (at least they were there when I bought those dies). You could call and talk to their tech dept too they'll have that info.

Thanks leftiye, I never thought to check Brownell's. I want to make sure my lathe can cut the right pitch before I take off the barrel.

They're all some very fine threads - one pass even. (it's right or it ain't and too bad). As you already know, a very sharp tool, and maybe better done with a couple of passes. If you're like me, it's easier to finish with a die. Better finish.
