Modify a Smith Long Range Ladder Sight

Here a little project I undertook this afternoon.

I ordered a Smith Long Range Ladder Sight from Brownells and upon receipt I realized it has no elevation adjustment..........

It does now!

.............Neat fix. I've been thinking of making a similar sight. Probably won't live long enough to ever get started on it. I keep forgetting and too many other things to do! [smilie=1:

Its a little surprising that the original sight did not have an allowance for elevation adjustment but, like your take-down modification on your 92, you have come up with an elegantly simple solution.
