View Full Version : Nikon M-223 scope
Thinking about getting one, looking for some feed back: how do you like them, are the adjustable turrets repeatable, built well ect. Anything you have to say about them I would like to know. Thanks John
Supposedly a good crisp optic, downside, cooked up for just one round. I ran across this:
http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=725900 , while reading about a budget AR build and think it's a better bang for the buck.
If all you will be shooting is 55 gr. .223 well it may be just the thing. Good luck!
Thats what I shoot unless I catch a deal on something lighter weight. Was looking at the higher powers for PD shooting. That one don't sound bad though thanks.

O-k, gotcha. Well one of the resources I have used in the past is Optics Planet.com to compare alot of diffrent optics to get a ball park of what I was willing to spend for an application. So far no complaints at all on what I settled on and enjoy the quick shipping. One company I didn't find there ( don't own one of theirs yet put I'm rolling the change for one) was Clearidgeoptics.com . Worth a look, if their feedback is correct it's one of those little shiny things one might find in the rough. ;-)
Will check them out thanks

I bought the NIK8488 Nikon 3-12x42 M223 Riflescope for $351 after a $92 price match back in April. Great company to deal with. Nikon had a special for a free mount going on back then, not sure if it's still running.
Overall the scope's been flawless, for the price it's it great optic.
Good to know appreciate it.

I think its thare way of trying what BSA is doing. I have three BSA sweet scopes and love them. i did look at that scope but what i dont like is like others said it only works with one load and thats a factory load. dont think i would spend the $$ for it
