Since I bought my Springfield 1911, I have been on the quest to find just the right OWB holster. After looking at all of the production leather available at the local stores and online, I realized that to get what I was looking for I would have to go with custom leather.

That is when I found Rick Garcia from RG leather.Yesterday I got my holster and belt in the mail. I truly could not be more pleased with the outcome. Though I would share some pictures. What do you think?

Thank you for the compliments guys!

Robert, His website is: http://www.rgleather.freehomepage.com/

The rig ran me $125 (It would have been more around a $100 without the stamping and lining in the holster)

Rick was a pleasure to work with from the start. It was great to find someone that was truly interested in working through things to ensure that the finish product would reflect what the customer was looking for.

Through many email and phone conversations we were able to line out exactly what I wanted. Rick did a great job keeping me updated of where he was at in the process from start to finish. Because there was so much communication, I really felt like I was part of the process and at the end not only found a good leather smith but a good friend.

I truly could not be more pleased with the outcome. After seeing his handy work in person I called him up and asked him to start on multiple other projects.
