Jerky

Made some jerky today, used top sirloin followed the marinade recipe that Traeger recommended, not bad (wife likes it) but its not quite there, next time I do a old fashioned brine & rinse and see how that goes. This one had soy sauce but I used the lite stuff, maybe the regular would be better.

I use a terraki marinade with no extra salt, but some extra brown sugar to taste. I use a vacume marinade system and a dehydrator.

I use that liquid smoke and some salt and peper and maybe some chili flakes. I like my jerky crisp!
