I have a 7x57 Spanish Mauser with a long throat and three inch magazine. Can anyone recommend a bullet with a long bearing surface?

Hornady 175 gr JRN works extremely well in 7x57 Mausers, IME, if you want to use
J-bullets.

+1 on the 175 rn from Hornady, works great in all my 7x57's.

So far I can't say anything for the lee 130 grain mold, but I did use 120 grain sierra spitzers and was getting bullseyes at 100 yards.

Check the boolit exchange for a post by frkelly, he has some 175 gr from a lyman mould that should work. Don't remember the #, but was made for the long throated 7x57s milsurps. I have some, real nice looking boolit just have not used any yet.

Ummm ..... 7-30 Waters, I am hoping to hear some feedback on your 7x57 with cast! The 7x57 has a lot of history behind it for me. Good luck and please keep us posted. :drinks:
