At least its still under its one year warranty. Display was a little dim when I first got it. Now TARGET and the numbers are vanishing. Hornady is getting a call Monday morning. Didn't even use it much!

That is one "good" thing about modern electronics--they either tend to fail quickly or they just keep running and running...
Hornady will take care of it.

I had some problems with my RCBS. I'm on my third one, same problem with the electronics. Make sure you fill out the warrantee card and send it in on every one.

Having a NEW TECHNOLOGY! MODERN! FAST! gimmick digital is slower, more finicky and much more costly than it's worth. IMHO.

Hornady will do you right, call them and get help.

Its a frustration but you will end up fine in the end.

Worked in electronics for 26 years. Lots of experience with medical grade electronic scales from a 3 year stint as a validation technician. After all of that, the only scale I own is a mechanical one from RCBS, though Dillon and Hornady make good ones as well.

Just my .02,

Dave

"...the only scale I own is a mechanical one..."

Ditto. And I have simular electronic instrument repair and calibration experience in the space/defence programs. Only way I'd have a digital scale on my bench is if someone gave it to me and then I'd only use it to weigh cases and bullets, not powder. Anyone saying a digital is 'faster' than a beam isn't using his beam correctly. IMHO.
