We already have the thread for stuff they should still make. This one is for stuff they've never made but should make.

BFRs with 5.5" barrels with a banded steel front sight to support the ejector rod housing
BFRs with Bisley grip frames
BFRs with the new JT frames in 5 shot .45 colt.

5 shot Ruger Bisleys in .480
5 shot Ruger Bisleys in .45 colt

J- frames with 1 7/8" barrels with drift adjustable front tritium sights and the back of the frame shaped to form a decent rear sight.

A 6 shot scandium k-frame in .357 with a titanium cylinder, round butt j- frame grip profile, and sights as above - with no stupid lock.

A 5 shooter 10mm snubbie on a k- frame.

Check this out:

I don't know the model number but they used to make this model with completely adjustable sights. Exactly like the sights on the M-19.

I have owned three of these over the years. They are very nice.

Two of them were factory and one had been modified by adding the J frame adjustable rear sight. This one was a three inch bull barrel and was really nice. The extra barrel reduced the perceived recoil about 50%.

The j frame rear sight can be seen on the S&W web site by searching for .22 Kit Gun.

I have seen those. Adj sight j-frames.

They also make the 642 powerport with a drift front sight and slightly longer (2 1/8?) Barrel.

Neither fills my niche. Needs to be short enough to not show in a pocket like a 1 7/8" and be light like an airweight or airlite so it doesnt give me urban pants syndrome.

I’ll generalize and vote for some nice sporting 32 caliber revolvers.
A pocket full of 88 grain 32’s has more rounds in it than a pocket full of 38’s.
Here in Illinois all we need is enough gun to kill a wild dog or coyote. Been dreaming about a K-38 for a couple years but would rather have one in 32 S&W Long. I realize that won’t happen.

By the late 1920s, COLT and S & W should have offered their mid frame Revolvers chambering .38 Super using full Moon Clips.

Around that time also, if not earlier, Colt shold have made a 3/4 or 4/5ths size Model O chambering the 9 mm P-'08 Cartridge ( which they almost did, but, for whatever reason, did not...)

Colt should have also made a variaiton of the Model O which was like the '03 Hammerless .32, but of course, larger, for the .45 ACP Cartridge...and, for the .38 Super Cartridge.

Those are a few which come to my mind, anyway, and, they all ought to have been offered long long ago...

I like the 32s, too. Let's have a remake of the Smith M-53 (22 Magnum), but in 327. Tapered magnum barrel, rebounding firing pin, twist fast enough for 140s.

And a Colt Diamondback in 32 H&R (I'm workin' on this one).

Dayum!

I've about five thousand 9mm loaded rounds here. A revolver with a chamber that would actually shoot 9mm would be nice. Convertibles don't work.

I'd like to see the K-32 in Stainless steel.

This is where I feel sympathy for the manufactures.
I’ve a couple of stainless steel guns. That’s all I want. Give me blue.
So what’s a manufacturer to do? Can’t make us both happy.

Yup, I understand. I like blued guns a lot, but for a gun that I envision taking to the field with regularly, I like the idea of SS for it's ease of care and maintenance.

Ruger now makes a .357 mag bolt action rifle. Wonder why they didn't chamber it for 357 max mag. I wonder if the action is long enough to convert to 357 max. Also wish that S&W had produced a k model in 327 mag.

x-frame 475 cal. in the 500 necked down. or the 45-70 blown out and cut to 500 length
and I have always wanted a 458 cal revolver the x-frame would do
but if Ruger would please get on the x-frame size bandwagon you did so great with the 357 max. Make a Bisley 5 shot in any of the rounds I have listed
475/500
475/45-70 cut to 500 mag length
a 458 in a 500 mag length
and even bring back the good old 357 max
oh yea while your at it the 445 super mag

A GP-100 in .44 special - I'd hock the farm to buy that one.

Another one Ruger should do is a Single-Six in 5-shot .38 Special. It most certainly can be done - custom 'smiths are already doing it.

Great idea! And make it very light. A modern colt 1903 pocket with some stomp.

I'm thinking a cross between a kel-tec pmr30 and a ruger mkii.

yes a mk III 22/45 in a 32 cal with the 4" slab sided bull barrel would be a great gun to have for all around hunting, plinking, and trail gun. Big enough to take varmint small enough to take squirrel. all and all this may be the best idea for an all around smaller bore gun.

But I do have the love of the big boomers. They are like a sickness to me so I still stick to my earlier post.

I have always thought that a larger, (4") more shootable, but still extremely light and flat version of the kel-tec p3at or p32 would be very handy to have in a wasteband. Something with a 4" barrel and weighing in close to 15oz loaded. Kahr cw9 is close, but not quite.

I like the way you think! the GP in .44 spl would be even better.

i'll also add an adjustable sight bisley single six chambered in .327 offered with a 6.5" and 5.5" barrel. hell....... i'd even settle for another run of the this platform chambered .32 H&R

I'd like to see a top-break revolver in 45ACP. The fastest-loading type in the world (with moon clips), coupled with the best short-range manstopper round (without insane over-penetration danger), it would be an ideal concealed-carry or dresser-drawer defense piece. And with 4" to 6" barrels, it could be a great target choice.
Hey, S&W: dig out those old drawings from the 1930s!

- Colt 1903 with a decent set of dovetailed sights and an ambi thumb safety
- 2" and 3" S&W 13s, round butt, 7 shot .327 mag
- 3" and 4" S&W 696, round butt, 5 shot .44 spl l-frame
- S&W i-frame / Colt Pocket Positives, 2.5" and 3.5" barrels, in either .32 acp or .380 for use with moon clips
- The old Detonics prototype Webley style top break revolvers, either as a 7 shot .357 or a 5 shot .44 spl. Maybe a snubby version in 9mm or .380 with moon clips for a pocket gun.
- New US manufacture version of the Chinese Broomhandle Mauser copies in .45 acp

I fancy a Smith and Wesson Blued N Frame, 45Colt, 4" Bbl, but with the same sort of under rib as the L Frame, handfilling ivory grips. (apart from the grips they may already make this gun).

357 might be asking a bit, but 32 H&R Mag would be just the ticket!

I bought my late wife a Rossi 22 pump not long after we started going out. I wanted to make sure she was going to get on the program before I got tangled up proper so to speak. She loved her little Rossi and we had 35+years together before she passed away. Great gun, great girl.

The Rossi still sees a lot of use with learners and in 22 cowboy events, rabbit hunting and general plinking. Best of all, it's fav ammo is the cheap Winchester stuff!

Make the 32H&R Mag with a side eject and a low powered scope fitted, I will sell off my 32/20s!

I wish for a stainless copy of the Colt 1903, with sights like the 1911A1, and no other changes. I'd buy one in either 32 ACP or 380.
I's also like a stainless Old style Woodsman with a 4 inch barrel and decent adjustable sights. A K-frame 327 Magnum Masterpeice would be swell, a 6 inch, without underlug.

You can find workable ray guns or blue prints for making them online.
These generally only have enough power to burst a balloon, or push a dixie cup off a table. something to play around with, though potentially dangerous.

When young a neighbor owned a really neat blaster. It used carbide to generate gas. When fired it threw a neat glowing ball of gas in a fairly straight line for quite a distance.

Lasers and energy weapons can be made to be very compact, but the battery packs can fill a truck.
One built for the Army back in the 70's used one APC to carry the weapon, and another APC to carry its generator.

Guass rifles have been developed to some degree by individual experimentors.
Google these, you'll find some pretty cool results.

You guys would have to get in line behind me for that GP100 in 44 Special. 41 Special would be nice, too.

A 5 shot Ruger Bilsey in 480, and a 5 shot SR in 480.

A 327 Federal in the Ruger Single Six.

I agree about the BFR's too. Bilsey gripframe and 4-3/4" - 5-1/2" model swould be sweet.

Also, a Ruger Stainless Bisley (both 4-3/4 and 5-1/2" models) on the new flat top medium frame.

There is a 70's or early 80's TV movie, probably intended as a pilot film, where the hero carries a single action Colt modified to hold seven rounds instead of six. The catch was the seventh bullet was reserved for evil.

It was a fine looking Colt, a repro of that revolver might sell well, but since they never made this a series very few are likely to remember it.

Still a seven shot .357 on a Colt Peacemaker or Ruger Vaquero frame would be pretty cool.

Also there are near replicas of the Colt Thunder double action, but these are basically a Peacemaker with Thunderer type parrot bill grip.
A replica that was exactly the same as the original, with a more modern and sturdy double action mechanism , in .357/.38 or .41 magnum with option for the light .41 target loads, would make for a fine multi purpose handgun.
Plenty fast enough for self defense, though still loaded singly by the gate.

But the store keeper version with short barrel and no ejector rod might be equiped with a spare cylinder that had some sort of latch to prevent loaded rounds from falling out. The cylinders could be swapped out nearly as fast as a swing out cylinder could be cleared of empties and reloaded.
A Cap&Ball cylinder could also be provided, with loading stand as used with some pre loading lever Patterson models.

The Blue and Green Lasers are said to carry the most energy. Some over the counter green laser pointers can burst a balloon as is. I think the green lasers are outlawed in some states because several people have been blinded by them.
