I took my 94 Winchester to the range today to shoot some of
Bullshops .323 195gr fngc.
I loaded these with 7gr of Unique they shot low at 50 yards and I could hear them hitting the berm, pretty mild.
Is it safe to try 8 to 10 grains?
Having a hard time finding load data for this caliber.

Ive used 8.5 and 9 gr of Unique with a 30-30 and a 173 gr bullet I have also used a 170 gr and 8.5 gr in a 32-40. There were no pressure siqns so with a heavier bullet you can go higher but do it slowly not in big jumps no more than say .5 gr per jump and these fast powders raise pressure fast.

In case you need some comic relief, last range visit I ran 10 grains of Universal behind a 119 grain plain base bullet in my 30-30. Grouped into 4.8" at 55 yards, and I'm still scraping lead out of the barrel. Seems like a gas check is called for at that kind of pressure level. 8 grains went into 1.2" though - nothing wrong with the concept, I just got a little carried away with the quantity of powder.

10 or 11 grains is still mild. 10 grains Unique - Win 64 30-30 173 or 180 gr =1370fps, 12sd. And no leading.
