Somewhere on the forum I saw where someone had gotten an upgrade or replacement handle for their 450 from Lyman. They don't have any mention of it on their website, can anyone steer me in the right direction to find out about it?

I have gotten 2 upgrade kits for my 450 lubers. I can`t locate the product number right now. I`d call Lyman at 1-800-225-9626 and ask the operator for help in ordering the handle kit. Be aware that the lube reservoir cover may not work with the new handle. One of my lubers wouldn`t let me use the old cover, the other luber had no such problem. I simply put a large flat fender washer that had a 3/8" center hole on the reservoir and it works fine.Robert

An upgrade that I did to the Lyman handle upgrade kits was to thread the ends of the round handle replacement parts so I could attach a round handle knob that was threaded to fit. Another way around the rod handle is to put a handle bar grip from a bicycle over the rod handle for a more comfortable grip.Robert
