View Full Version : I can't seem to locate a Lee mold mod I saw here

There's a set screw that acts like a pivot point for the cam lever on Lee molds. I swore I read something about modifying that in some way to make it better.

Anyone recall this or should I switch back to single malt?

I think you're referring to the use of a flat head screw that is screwed into the mold block to act as the wear point for the cam surface. Some use dry wall screws, others use machine screws. No link to offer, but is this what you're talking about?

That is part of the Leementing process.

All my Lee 6 cav. molds have a steel screw put
in place so that the steel pivot won't be wearing
on the aluminum blocks, it will be rubbing against
the head of the steel screw .

Keep some good lube on the head of this screw,
and you'll be good to go :

That's it! Thanks....I have one Mold that has a set screw there. I have another that I don't believe does.
