44 jackets arrived from Larry today
Only have a small offcut of lead wire so cut a couple of pieces and started up the Hydropress
Nothing flash as far as process goes.

175gr on left and 185gr on the right with 5/16 Bullet balls in them

Made a single leadtip for the sake of it (just playing) 235gr with small tip.

I'm stuck now though due to lack of lead wire supply.

I got hold of Butch and hes goign to sort some 1" jackets for me :p

At this stage i dont have anythign 44 haha but its the only set of dies that I have that work with the jackets etc. 30 cal punch dramas :-(
I will be chambering an AR15 in what is basically a long 44 Automag - 308 cut off at the shoulder
Main goal is big subsonic pills

Rolling your own gets to be very addictive. I found that I really don't save much money by making my own, but I do have control over what goes down the barrel. That places quality control in my own hands, and allows some options in the configuration as well. Enjoy those boolits you make yourself, it is a really great feeling.
