finished, and test fired!
I got the bug for a subgun looking pistol on the AR platform awhile back.
Soooo, I ordered a lower and upper from LAR. The lower is skeletonized, and the upper is the ambidextrous OPS-4 with a charging handle on each side in lieu of the standard.
I went back to St Louis twelve days ago for my Mother's 83rd Birthday. Serendipitously, the Cardinals were hosting the Cubs.
The next morning I took a scenic back roads drive down to Yellville, AR, to visit with Aaron and his partner at Delta Company Arms and have them fit a 10.5" 1:8" twist barrel in 300 BLK. When I got to their shop about 3pm it was 109 degrees and over 90% humidity...
The pistol shoots well, and feeds my old Lyman 311284 and NOE's 311196 (spire point) both with no hiccups.
Now, to get my 311247 moulds from Swede and get to work.
regards,
Rich
