Heavy trophies

Ever heard old trophies being made out of lead ? Man says he received them in the Early 60's while go cart racing . Believes they are lead because of there weight .Marvin

My trophies from the '50's and 60's were not lead. Some type of die-cast.

Did some searching . More than likely they are pot metal . Marvin

Some were supposed to be made of pewter. Not sure on the timeframe of that though.
