Good info. Close to my opinion on my 329. I opened up the V-notch so that the sides of
the V are just tangent to the green fiber optic circle when the top of the sight is flush with
the top of the sight. Originally, when the top was flush, the green dot was partially obscured
by the sides of the V - bad idea.

My erosion shield needs replacing, I will send it back to S&W soon. I agree about the
X frame sight from S&W - best I have tried, noticably better than the Pach Decelerator in
my opinion. Not a plinker - not really fun even with light loads. I do most of my practice
with a Mountain Gun and carry the 329 in bear country.

I really want one, but have no use for a DA. But I want one. Ruger only loads a no no..... but I want one. :)

2 years ago, I saw one for $425 on a table at a Ft Myers FL gun show. I would have owned it, but out of state and a handgun don't mix.
