Okay , been so busy last few months with work , relatives , etc. ... was getting a little anxious what with no shooting or reloading at all .
Said to heck with it and went out to the shed and loaded up a few rounds of 45 then went out to the local range to let off a few , waited till later in the day in hopes I would be the only one.
When I arrived there was one other gentleman there and he was just finishing up , set myself up and let go of a few , .... yes ! how sweet ! shooting a 1911 is .....kind of soothing ..( now that makes me a gun nut !).
The gentleman left and I finished up and I had brought a long one of my 2 or 3 gal wheel weight bucket for brass and I thought , hey , I haven't been collecting in a long time sooooo.
About 40 minutes later I had about 40 pounds of range lead ! Yeessss !
Took advantage of no one else around on a nice warm Sunday afternoon and came home with a lot more than I brought ...
That just about tops off my 5 gal bucket of range lead in my shop , it ain't going nowhere .....
can't even lift it on to my scale ....:happy dance:
