Does anybody cast zinc or zlnc aaiioy boolits? Give us details.

I don't see why it couldn't be done, I would think the boolits would be very light weight, and really hard! Actually they might make good boolits to use for fire lapping a bore.

Use the search function. Several very good threads in the last year or so. Check posts by Jbunny, and there was another member who had really gotten in-depth with alloy and process, I can't remember his handle but he and Jbunny compared a lot of notes so if you find one you will find the other. I also think that Docone uses them for paper-patch cores cast in a Lee mould. Not sure how he cuts the bases off though, I assume he removes the sprue plate before casting.

I think doc1 makes zink bullets for paper patching, pm him.

I casted several zinc slugs with the lee 1oz slug mold, great plinking fun.
I use the zinc for fishing weights more
