I got these many years ago at a garage sale and for the life of me have no clue what they are for. Any ideas?

Take note that the diameter size is almost .204 and NOT your normal .210 diameter. And they are a boxer primer.

Not rifle or pistol.

Shotgun guys, check your primers.

When I was shooting trap, many years ago, some really frugal guys bought only the central primer cap and replaced the caps in the large outer cup that fits into the shell head.

Note. These primers had NO anvil. The anvil was in the larger 209 cup.

I don't have any shotshells to check.

Looks to me like a military designation. Anybody recognize it? I can't read your measurement. .50BMG or 20mm?

Well good thing you brought those up. I just happen to have those on my shelf but when I checked them with the calipers they came out around. 328 diameter.
