I want to shorten the barrel of my 7 1/2" bisley barrel to 4 5/8". While I am sure a good smith could do it, it probably would cost quite a bit. So...would it be possible to buy a 4 5/8" Blackhawk barrel and have a smith fit it for me? This is a blued barrel by the way, not stainless. The frame on my Bisley says its a Blackhawk frame. Thanks ahead of time for your help.

Look on gunbroker, shouldn't be too rare. Could easily be cut down too. Hacksaw, and re-crown, et voila'. Only thing is putting new sight out front.

I'm going to shorten mine to 10" with a new barrel too (can't remember the guy's name who made it).
