Encore/Contender Sight interchange?

Will the sights from an Encore work on a Contender as well? Or are there differences in the screw hole spacing?

I have an ad in the swapping and selling and a couple of members have asked. I don't have a Contender on hand to verify one way or the other.

Screw holes are the same, radius of the barrel is different. This is for rear mount sights.

Brownell's sells a Loc tite product - black magic or something like that (ask the techs, they'll know). Anyhow it resembles the old Poly Choke adhesive and could be used to supplement the screws, and make the sight stable, front and rear (vis a vis the barrel diameter problem).
