Just got back from picking my daughter up from the airport and lo and behold, there was a large, clean 3 oz. WW right at the toll booth. Stopped to pick it up, but didn't examine it until we got home a few minutes later. Wouldn't you know it was zinc! Bummer!

Yup. I found one today also. Great big truck WW just sitting on the shoulder........ had ZN marked on it. Sign of the times.

I'm nearly in tears Paul. Would you like me to send a real one? LOL.

Jeff, Unfortunately I'm finding more Zn WW's than lead [alloy] ones these days. A 3 oz. one, even if Zn, isn't very common on the routes I travel.

Same here. Any given bucket of WW's will be 30% Zn, 30% stick on, 40% clip on.

I have a 6 oz. WW. Dodged traffic to get it, only to be sorely disappointed. It was Zink.

When the rumor started a few years back about zinc wheel weights becoming mandated, I started collecting WW's big time. I have about 2000+ lbs in the basement. I am lucky. That doesn't include the 600 lbs of ingots that have been smelted so far.
I am really happy I made that decision!
It was stored at my girlfriend's house......and now we are buying the house together. Thank God I don't have to move that stuff!
