Just went to Kempton, Pa., home of the Dixon's Muzzleloading store, where they host an annual rifle builder's fair. What a great time. 3 days of period dressed souls displaying forge welding barrels from flat stock, hand rifling machine, and all the related woodworking, engraving, etc. All manner of related stuff for sale. Pleasant experience even with the hundreds of folks that came by. Cannons fired off all day, tomahawks thrown, free lectures on horn making, and some of the most beautiful ML rifles and fowling pieces you'll ever see. Very cool.
