It does shatter pretty easily. Take a blade screw driver and hit the center of the casting, should shatter off the locking lug spill over.

Use a pencil tip electronics soldering iron to cut/melt sections out and then pick the rest out. It worked well for me.

I made some cast boolits once. I dont know what happened. they never made it to target
