Lee 18 cav. 00 buck mold.

I got one coming soon and would like
any tips on lead temps..and what not.

From what I've seen so far, they like to run hot, just like any Lee molds that I've used so far.

thank you... my 12g. slugs look a little wrinkaly and I have tryed to heat
the mold up but who knows.

I don't know this 1st hand, but I have heard that pressure casting seems to give the best results for mold fill out.
Lyman's reloading manual has pictures of 'pressure casting' in it's bullet casting section.

A hot plate would dramatically speed up getting the mold up to casting temps without having allot of rejects.
