I believe that these are the old number for 209 primers and will work in any modern hull.

CCI 109 and CCI 209 are identical except for the color of the metal.. ..info to this effect is listed in just about all reloading manuals (check the safety precaution sections). I have a pretty big stash of 109s I freely interchange with 209s. I would jump on a good price for those primers and feel pretty good about it.

Good luck!

CCI 109 primers were the same as 209's
Expect not waterproofed

Sold mainly for trap & skeet

Suposed to have had a lower MSRP
But localy always the same price as CCI 209's

watch your powder. the 109s dont have a seal on the hole and fine powder like 110, 2400 will get inside the cup and will blow a hole in the primer
When they came out with the 109 and old rem 57,97s about all shotgun powder was flake

I looked these primers over pretty good and they do have a covered flash hole. All boxes look to be unopened and in very good shape.Basicly a copper plated steel battery cup with a nickle plated brass flat top primer. The flash hole has a red lacquer covering over the hole...Robin

Here is some good info.
I use the cci 109's with the load data for cci 209's. no problems at all.

I thought it was the other way around.. the CCI 209's were the trap/skeet primers, the 109's were meant for wet conditions, and the 209M's were meant for igniting heavy charges of slow burning propellant..

109's were for .410's I think I read somewhere. They interchange with 209 and are a mild primer on a par with a Win 209.
