What loads are these good for? I'm looking for a .308/.30-06 and maybe even a 7.62x39 loading and the short neck on this looks like it would be good.

Am I wrong on this???

Tom created this mold for me and it has proven a great asset for those short neck cases. I've used it with great results in the 7.5x55, 30.06, & especially the 300 savage. I like to pan lube and the long one grease groove works for me. I don't think you will be unhappy with this mold, especially coming from Tom shop.

Happy, I thought it was sound logic and I'm glad to hear you reinforce what I was thinking.

I would love to just give some molds a "try" but between safety and money, I figure it's good to ask for advice. So thank you.

I'm pondering getting a 4 cavity from Accurate, with two in that same style 31-170B,
And the other two in 31-110L.
That way I could cast my favorite 110 grain for my pet load.
And also have the 170 grain for other stuff.
All from one mold.
Oh, for use in my 30-06...

Bad idea? Good idea?
