They are usually rifle specific. What rifle are you considering/using? Or is this for collecting?

PM Delta Enterprises if you have a design in mind. If you need a design I would suggest you contact the Single Shot Society. I'm at work and don't have a link but they are the experts on such things.

You have two basic ideas, one is a dummy shell that will push the boolit the right amount into the barrel. This assumes the action has a strong enough movement to accomplish this. The other is a device that does the same thing with a fulcrum point attached to the rifle in some way and pushes a rod into the chamber with the boolit on the end of the rod. These rifles typically have some sort of pin or button on the outside of the chamber as the fulcrum point to attach the appliance that pushes the boolit. I'm not sure I'm describing it very well. If you are experienced with Single Shot shooting you may have seen this on a rifle.
