Got a nice present today. about 42 lbs of lead. one is 40-60 (40 lead 60 tin?) Solder? Also some fishing weights, some wheel weights, and some Lyman Ingots Marked 50-50. To top it off, a small ladel and a small pot to boot! Kylie was ready to go make ingots. But, I'm still not ready yet. Still over thinking it... I have to assume the fishing weights are unknown lead, not sure what the twisty lead is. Also a bunch of what look like .357 bullets. Might have to size them and sort out the dinged ones and try some out. Overall a good day!

Looks like your little one is happier about the free lead than you! The "twisty" lead might be lead lighting lead. Does is look like a little peice of "I" section? If it is, then it is usually very soft, maybe pure Pb.

I had a small pile just for "Unknown lead". All that changed when I got the LEE Lead Hardness Tester. Nice score by the way. :drinks:

The "bendy stuff" looks like it could be sprue from the sinker molds...
