Looking for some ideas on cast bullet loads for a Ruger 77 MKII in 6.5x55 Swede. I have some of the different moulds available but was wondering what other people were using thanks.

Really depends what you want to do with it.

I've been having great fun with a BRP 268469 improved mold, its 140 grains over 13.5gr 2400 - shot out of my M96 Swede. Nice and easy target load with enough uumph at 200 yards to knock down steel rams. Shot my best score ever with it at the last military bolt rifle silhouette match.

Primarily target shooting and some varmint hunting.

Lyman's #266469 Loverin ran better in my Ruger Swede than did the 150 grain bore-rider spire point they currently offer. 12.0-14.0 grains of 2400 was my load spread. I'll be ordering that mould whenever 'me having money' corresponds to 'suppliers having moulds'--hopefully, some time this next decade.

"Lyman's #266469 Loverin..."

My Swede likes it.
