I believe 2.8 grains of 700X was very accurate. I think 2.8 of Bullseye or HP-38 would be too.

4.0 Unique is a decent load

Lyman 4th edition list 38 Special laods for the Lee 358-105-SWC.
I like that little boolit over Bullseye, shoots great out of my M66 S&W. Very economical too.

There are something like 25 powders between Norma R-1 and Unique. 3.0 of any of them will work just fine.

What charge of Bullseye are you using?
IIRC it was 4.2 Bullseye, don't have the notebook in front of me. Check this against the Lyman Cast Boolit Handbook. That is out of a 6" M66.

I use 4.0~4.5 of Bullseye and a poly filler. I have Chronographed with and without---such a light, small bullet with such a small powder charge makes for a huge spread in velocity--the filler solves this probelm. I recall shooting some 110 grain WW Silvertip factory ammo...had the same problem with a sizeable velocity spread...probably for the same reason.
BTW I now use Red Dot---as it is 30% more fluffier than Bullseye. Some have stated it is cleaner burning...

I have some super accurate loads with VithaVuori powders (N320 & N340), if you can get your hands on these powders and want a load, just let me know.
N320 is one of the most versatile powders you can use with pistol loads !
