Anyone taken a factory projectile 308 diameter and bumped it to 311?
I'll like some nice hunting and target projectiles for my 303 and have 5k+ of both 155gr Corelokts and 168gr Noslers

Can see how it might work - but DOES it work in practice?

I've bumped .224 bullets into light .243 bullets, I would imagine what you propose would be easier :)

Just jammed them into a 243 point form die?

Yessir, using the right bottom punch, they bumped right up, and other than looking a little squatty, they're just fine.

Yes, it will work.

Somewhere on this site BTSniper bumped a .308 up to .338 in one of his point forming dies. He has a picture of it too.

Here is the link to his post, I was wrong he made a .323 from a .308...
