Mark Whyte (Springfield) works with leather. Built me a nice X-draw.

I have designed and made a number of holsters in the past, but its been many years.

I still have the pattern I made for an original design inside the waist band holster for the 1911, adaptable to the p-35 and other similar handguns in the general size range.
I use my ptotype to carry my S&W 59, not the best fit for DA auto pistols but useable.

One day I'll make a new pattern specifically for DA autos.

Last time I did this sort of work the price of quality leather was a bit too high to turn these out at a reasonable price and still make a profit.
I'll look into present day prices and perhaps try my hand at this work once more.

I would also suggest Springfield for such a project !

NOT SPRINGFIELD!!!!
I have him working on a knife sheath design, cross draw horizontal carry, BUT, when he's done with that you can have him. [smilie=s: In fact as an owner of one of those flashlights, you can count me in.

Heck I'd be happy with a nylon pouch for mine.
