factory bullet question

Another "new to forum" question. I just shot up the last of my 45-70 Oregon Trail cast 405gr bullets. They seemed to do fine through my Pedersoli RB. Any suggestions for factory 405gr for smokeless through the RB, until I get to casting my own?

Remington or Speer jacketed have been quite accurate for me. If you mean cast,
contact the Bullshop. PM "Bullshop" if you can't find the link.

As to cast, I can recommend the RCBS 458 405 GC boolit design. Air cooled wheel
weights is fine, as is normal NRA 50-50 lube. Make sure they are large enough.

I have good luck with the 405gr. Meister boolit in my "Quigley' 45-70.
